The CHARGE application offers a convenient and user-friendly platform for individuals seeking to utilize electric scooters for their transportation needs. Upon downloading the app from the App Store, users are encouraged to review the Terms of Use and complete the registration process to gain access to the service.

Users can easily locate the nearest CHARGE electric scooter via the interactive map within the application, with a variety of scooters available for selection. Additionally, there is an option to reserve a scooter for up to five minutes, ensuring it is available when needed.

To initiate a ride, simply stand next to the chosen scooter and either scan the QR code or tap the “Start journey” button within the CHARGE app. This intuitive process enhances user experience right from the outset.

The scooters are equipped with practical features for enhanced safety and control. Users can toggle the lights on and off by pressing a button below the scooter's screen. Moreover, three driving modes are provided: “ECO” allows speeds up to 9 km/h, “D” enables speeds up to 15 km/h, and “S” supports faster travel up to 25 km/h. Selecting the appropriate mode can optimize both safety and efficiency during transit.

To begin riding, users must raise the kickstand and adopt a balanced stance on the scooter, pushing off with one foot while propelling forward with the other. Maintaining a steady grip on the throttle with your thumb is essential while keeping both feet on the scooter base for stability.

It is recommended to ride CHARGE electric scooters primarily on designated bicycle paths or along roadways when such paths are unavailable. In instances of heavy traffic, using pedestrian sidewalks is permissible, provided that pedestrians and other road users are respected at all times.

Braking is handled through a lever located on the left side of the scooter, providing an efficient means to stop or reduce speed as necessary.

At journey's end, users should terminate their ride in designated Green Zones highlighted on the application map. Proper parking etiquette includes ensuring that scooters do not obstruct pedestrian pathways or hinder other road users while being easily accessible for future riders. Users must ensure that the kickstand is deployed correctly, submitting a photo via the app to confirm proper placement and condition of the scooter before selecting “Finish a ride.”
